When you drive for JBTC, you’re driving in comfort and safety. Vehicles are equipped with the most advanced and proven technologies such as lane-departure warning systems, tire-inflation systems, and video-event recorders. In addition, late-model equipment has automated transmissions, roll-stability systems, disc brakes, and wheel-end temperature monitors. The most important component to our safety program is the professional drivers we hire. Only experienced and safe operators are considered for employment. Equipment is specified with all air-ride suspensions. Lightweight equipment allows for industry-high payload. All trailers have sliding curtain-side tarpaulin systems.

Flatbed Driving Positions at JBTC:

Title: Regional

Driver operates five axle combination within our operating area. Home weekends. May be home a night during the week depending on load timing. Some dedicated runs allow drivers to be home more often. These runs are offered to drivers based on location and tenure. Pay is percentage based with a range between $45,000 to $55,000 annually. Benefits include health and life insurance, paid vacation, and cell phone use.

Title: Michigan 8-Axle

Driver operates 11 axle combination in Michigan, Ohio (overweight permit) and Indiana (overweight permit). Home time based on load timing and customer requirements; typically out 1-3 nights per week. Weekend work required as needed. Pay is percentage based with a range between $50,000 and $60,000 annually. Benefits include health and life insurance, paid vacation, and cell phone use.

Title: Michigan Train

Driver operates 11 axle combination B-Train in Michigan, Ohio (overweight permits), Indiana (overweight permits) and Ontario, Canada. Home time based on load timing and customer requirements; typically out 1-3 nights per week. Weekend work required as needed. Pay is percentage based with a range between $55,000 and $65,000 annually. Benefits include health and life insurance, paid vacation, and cell phone use.
